Graduate of The New York Fashion Academy in 2000,  Sam had taken the school to new horizons.  Wanting to learn more of the leather and fetish garments, asked for some guidance.  It was a new opening for Terry Horlamus  the Director and Dr. Robert E. Whaley, Ph. D. the Provost of NYFA.  But they did teach, with a vast background in the History of those time periods along with types of garments used. 

Moving from the garments to the actual artillery and protective gear used in The Gothic time period, Sam then took a turn.  And from then on...  Hoyden Gear TM was re-created as a maker of Fetish Toys & Accessories...  Hoyden Gear TM was founded in 1993.

In June of 2005 until early 2008 Hoyden Gear TM was represented by Alden Howard of Los Angeles, California.  Since then, Hoyden Gear TM has slowly spread the joy of well made - excellent quality fetish toys & accessories all hand made.
