Shipping

All items are shipped either United States Postal Service (USPS), Federal Express or United Postal Service  (UPS).  All item's are shipped DISCRETELY!  Boxes are plain.  Some items may come from various vendors, so you may not receive all items at one time.  When you place your order the shipping cost is determined by the weight of all the items.  Regular orders take approximately 1 - 3 business days to be shipped out.  Custom orders vary.  Smaller custom pieces will usually take 1-2 weeks to be shipped out.  Larger, more complex orders can take 3-6 weeks.  Some orders have to be shipped to Hoyden Gear TM and then off to customer, so you may experience longer than normal delivery times on various items.

*During holidays shipping may take longer.

Return Policy

We guarantee all our products, and your satisfaction is important to us.  Hoyden Gear TM will gladly exchange / fix an item, or refund a customer under the following guidelines FOR ON LINE SALES ONLY.

1:  Item is returned postage paid by customer, and post-marked within 7 days after it's arrival.   Include the original invoice.

2:  Item has a workmanship flaw/defect.  Blemishes, scares or brands do not reflect defects.  Those are a natural part of the hides and items made.  For items pre-made, (NOT custom ordered) we will gladly exchange item for another size / fix item if it broke during normal use, or refund a customer.  If it will need to be custom ordered, then you can return it and a refund will need to take place for another item to be custom ordered.  Following the 7 day guideline and item has not been used extensively.

3: If you are not satisfied with one of our products, you can return it postage paid within 3 days, ( that's post-marked 3 days from when you received it).  Along with the original invoice.  If it is a custom ordered item, then a 20% restock fee is applied and you will be refunded the rest.  (Exception:  Latex products can not be returned).

4:  If a customer is providing measurements to Hoyden Gear TM as a custom order, that item can not be returned due to improper fit. 

*5:  Clause to #4:  If measurement is in regards to item NOT custom made, such as, chaps, leather pants, jackets, vest etc.

*6: Medical items are non-refundable & can not be returned for obvious reasons.  Hoyden Gear TM is not responsible for the mis-use of any item.  Items are purchased as a novelty item.  If you are purchasing an item that needs special care, cleaning or requires someone with knowledge of that particular product, then it is your responsibility to seek out that information. 

Information Collection

 Hoyden Gear TM is the sole owner of the information collected on hoydengear. com  Hoyden Gear TM collects information from our users at several different points on our Web site.

Order

We request information from the user on our order form.  A user must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information ( such as credit card number, expiration date).  This information is used for bill purposes and to fill custiomer's orders.  If we have trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact the user.

This Web site contains links to other  sites.  Please be aware that we, Hoyden Gear TM, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.  We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information.  This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site.

Security

This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users' information.  When users submit information via the Web site, their information is protected both online and off-line.

When our registration / order form asks user to enter sensitive information ( such as credit card number ), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL.  While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browser such a Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to UN-locked, or open, when users are just 'surfing'.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices.
